The Good Samaritan: Who is my neighbour?

Luke 10. 25-37

As part of the series on welcome, I spoke on 13th July 2025 on the passage of the Good Samaritan and the question it raised of who is my neighbour.  I covered the use of this teaching in a Supreme Court case in 1932 which gave a huge amounts of rights for people in need and seeking redress, Donoghue v Stevenson, then looked at 3 applications; global and what Torbay can do to love our global neighbours, national and issues of asylum seekers and community and the major issues raised by the present generation of baby boomers
